AM & PM WVARC Net Invitation |
|
|
I am writing this to invite all licensed hams and
remind members of the West Valley Amateur Radio Club of the 9:00 AM and
8:00 PM nets on 147.300.
The morning net takes place 365 days a year on 147.300
MHz, positive offset, with a PL of 162.2. This AM net is open to all
licensed hams and has a regular participation of less than ten
club members, mobiles, short timers and others. We have seven net
controllers standing by to handle traffic ranging from priority &
emergency, health and welfare, daily news, weather and trivia questions.
The usual format takes less than a half hour to complete. Tune in at
9:00 AM MST and visit with the crew.
The evening net takes place at 8:00 PM MST, Monday
through Thursdays, also on the 147.300 machine atop Boswell Hospital in
Sun City West. Again, this machine is open and has a positive 600 KHz
offset with a PL of 162.2. Usually the same controllers handle traffic
on both the AM and PM nets. I'd like to invite all licensed hams and
their friends, you do not have to be a member of the WVARC, to
participate in either of these nets.
The net controllers are: KD7CSM Kristy
De Witt, KC7TOJ Faye Delaney, KE7IBG
Charles Deshaies and his XYL KE7IBH Antoinette
Deshaies, KE7HFE Mike Thomas, WA6PNJ
Ed Eiting, AE7AD Glenn Wade, KA6DCZ
Skip Musgrave. Interested in learning how to run a net? Check in and
just ask.
